Biography

Jinesh Mathew is a Research Associate in Applied Optics and Photonics research group of Institute of photonics and Quantum Sciences in the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences at Heriot-Watt University. He has received his PhD in photonics engineering from the Dublin Institute of Technology, Dublin, Ireland in 2013. He has nine years of research experience in the area of fibre-optic sensors and has published over 30 journal/conference papers in this field and holds h-index (Google Scholar) of 11. Currently he is working on additive layer manufacturing of metallic structures with embedded fibre optic sensors for high temperature applications.
